Maintenance and Care Instructions
General Care & Maintenance:
- Never use cleansers, abrasive cleaners, or bleach products to clean any portion of your furniture, including frames, glass, and seating
material.
- Clean and dry thoroughly before storing for the winter. Always drain any water that may have accumulated inside the frames.
- Protect you furniture with commercially available outdoor furniture covers when not in use. If your furniture is being used in areas of intense sun
exposure or hot temperatures, heavy pollution, or where birds and trees are plentiful, covering your furniture is especially recommended.
Warning: When using an umbrella with a dining table, always use a sturdy, heavy umbrella base. Always remove the umbrella from the
table when not in use. Never open the umbrella in windy conditions.
Care & Maintenance/Cast Aluminum/Aluminum Frames:
- For regular cleaning: Clean with mild soap and water and a sponge or soft cloth.
- To restore luster on finish: Use a clear liquid automotive wax to protect and to restore luster on the finish. This is recommended at least once a year.
- If covering nicks and scratches: Rub lightly with fine steel wool for better paint adhesion. Wipe clean. When using touch-up paint, shake well and use thin coats. Let paint dry between coats.
Care & Maintenance Tables
For Cast Tops:
- Clean with mild soap and water using a sponge or soft cloth.
- A clear liquid automotive wax may be used 1-2 times a year to protect the finish.
Glass Tops:
- Use mild soap and water when cleaning glass.
- Do not use janitorial or alcohol-based cleaners. (Some janitorial or alcohol cleaners may even be marked as natural.) Please read the ingredients, as these aggressive cleaners may cause discoloration or an adverse reaction to your paint finish.
- Use a clear liquid car wax on the metal areas to restore the shine and to protect your finish. Mop 'n Glo (Triple Action Strength) may also be used to restore the finish.
- A solution of vinegar and warm soapy water may be used to wipe off hard water deposits.
