Very easy to set up, comes with its own wrench. Getting it to sit up can be a little tricky but it will sit up, the clicking sounds mean that you're adjusting the position, it will click lift it a little more and then let it fall back and it should sit up. There are two positions, reclined and upright.

I bought this to replace the full size bed that was filling my kids play room. We wanted an extra bed for grandparent visits, but there was little room left for playing. This convertible sofa is much smaller than the old full bed. It is barely long enough for an adult and it can only hold two thin people laying straight with arms down. It definitely won't hold 6' foot grandpa! The craftsmanship was also extremely poor. Not a single straight screw and the predrilled holes were out of line.

A few comments led me to believe it was too good to be true but it was actually quite the purchase. Bigger, sturdier and more comfortable than expected.
