The Indonesian capital of Jakarta wasn't always called Jakarta. Prior to 1942, it went by Batavia and pulsed with a worldly blend of colonial Dutch and native styles. You'll get that same international flavor with the Batavia Headboard. Look closely at the square accents, and you'll see they're made of real coconut shells that are laminated for a smooth touch. The rest of the headboard is crafted of solid mahogany and finished in a rich espresso that's neither too light nor too dark. Just choose your size, add your own bed, and if you like, pair it with the Batavia nightstand, sold separately.

This headboard is so beautiful. I absolutely love it. It is perfect to the description and made with quality SOLID wood. Please upgrade your shipping as free To-The-Door shipping means exactly that. They would not deliver it to my door on the second floor but after getting up the stairs (with help) it was worth it!
