Certain to add warmth to any bedroom, the Boulder Retro Platform Bedroom Set features a bold curved headboard design in a rich cappuccino finish. It's constructed from a combination of MDF with wood veneer. Measures 13 inches from floor to rail. Coordinating bedroom pieces are also available to complete your bedroom decor.


With its sturdy center support rail construction, this platform bed can be configured to fit your sleeping needs. Install all 14 included slats if you plan to use a mattress only. If you prefer a mattress with box spring, simply install four of the slats. Mattress and bedding are not included.


This platform bed, along with all Lifestyle Solutions furniture, is certified for compliance with International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) guidelines for sustainable management of tropical forests. All their furniture is constructed from plantation-grown hardwood to ensure sustainable use of timber.

    I love this bed! We've had it over 3 years and I still love it! At first I was hesitant going from a higher bed with a traditional mattress and boxspring set into a lower platform with no boxspring. We've used our existing mattress on the platform slats and have never had an issue. The design of this bed was perfect for our room because it's a good mix of serene for me, yet clean-lined and masculine for my husband.

        This is a really great buy!

        The box arrived torn in several placed and I feared significant damage (don't know why furniture manufactures don't box better??). There was one scratch but on the back side of the headboard, so no biggie.

        Assembly way straightforward and easily accomplished in 20 minutes. The most difficult part is screwing in the last slat of the cross supports, because you have to align the support below with the screw above the frame. Awkward but doable. Anyone with the least bit of experience should be able to assemble this bed and it is easier with two people.

        The fit and finish are very good, especially for this price point. The wood is not the greatest quality by any means but accepts the stain very well considering and again, is in line with the price. The stain is relatively even with a few minor light spots.

        The overall result is a substantial and rich looking bed, at a wonderful price. Highly recommended!

          My wife and I bought this bed based on it's clean styling, price and customer reviews. We think it was a great purchase. It's our first platform bed and takes a little getting used to making it up, but that would be our only negative. I'm amazed how sturdy it is. There are plenty of slats with the queen for stable support. And they're all connected with webbing so they're easy to space out perfectly. The dark stain is great; it's not solid black color as it appears in the pics. It has sort of a reddish tint up close, but I think that's because of the contrast between the natural wood color and the stain. Almost like it has flakes in the stain. But this really doesn't show up from more than a couple feet away. I actually like it better than if it was one solid color. For the price, styling, and sturdiness of this bed we could not be more happy. [...]
