Product is as described, wood used is not first quality, easily mars and finish is adequate to cover the wood but none of it is 1st quality. It is what the prices suggest, adequate. Does the job.

When I opened the box I loved the rich color. It was easy to put together. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was becasue of the wood - it's pine and easily dented and scratched. I temporarily had the cable box on the top shelf and somewhere in the movement of placing it I made a small gouge in the wood. I'll have to fill it in with a matching color crayon but otherwise it's nice looking.

This is made in Thailand. The wood is sturdy boards that are glued together to make the 11" width. The shelves and sides are not exactly the same length and width which makes for very small gaps. One of the shelves had a 6 inch gap in the glue where it was joined to the next piece in the built up board. I fills a need, but just.

Bought 2 to use under a 30" window. Wound up using them in different locations. Very versatile, since they are so short and sturdy. One is for display items, and the other is in a small space in the sunroom for books and family photos. Works very well. Because of their size, I can use them in almost any room in the house.
